- Find a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down.
- Start your focus at the toes of your right foot. Consciously feel into them and notice any sensations.
- Slowly work your way up from the toes to the top of the foot, the heel, the calf, and the knee.
- Continue this process on the left leg, from the toes to the knee.
- Feel into the thighs, pelvis, abdomen, and hips.
- Continue scanning over the spine, lower back, chest, and shoulders.
- Shift your focus to the fingers of your right hand and work your way up to the arm.
- Repeat this process on the left arm, then bring your attention to the neck and head.
